I work as a trauma nurse for one of the trauma centres in greater Manchester and see daily 1st hand how the North west air Ambulance can impact on the outcome of major trauma patients. The air ambulance is not funded by the NHS and relys soly on charity’s and individuals raising money to keep them going. On a normal working day I must see them land at least twice and that is just at my trust. I am running the 10k to raise money for them to continue to save lives and make such a huge difference to peoples lives. Any donation big or small is welcome .
