Story
You think it won’t happen to you ! But it did . In December 2020 I was diagnosed with breast cancer . Luckily I am a person that did regular checks and found the lump , you just know what it is .
I had the lump removed in January and due to breast cancer research I didn’t need chemotherapy , but had radiotherapy and on medication for 5 years .
The hardest thing for me as it was during lockdown I had to tell my children over a FaceTime which was devastating.
The radiotherapy and the medication I'm on has left me fatigued and side effects , but it’s not going to beat me .
Im doing ok I have more good days now and getting on with my life.
Cancer research is amazing and if the research they do can save more lives let’s help them Please donate it doesn’t matter how small or large , it all helps in the fight against cancer .
my sister Susan is supporting me and doing the challenge with me
Thank you x
