My colleagues and I have organised an Afternoon Tea fundraiser for Breast Cancer Now on Wednesday 13th August.

This charity is close to my heart as in 2001 my mum was diagnosed with this condition. Luckily for me, she had surgery to remove the cancer and after months of radiotherapy she recovered.

I recently found out one of my close friends sister was also diagnosed with this horrid condition and has recently undergone surgery to remove it.

Most of us have relatives and friends who have been affected by the condition so the more funds we can raise the better.

As most of us in the workplace love our bake sales we thought it would be a fitting charity to raise some vital funds for.
