Hike the Hill 2023
Campaign by Amber (RCN 1051388)
Hike the Hill - Sunday 11th June 2023 at 9am. Walk to the highest point in the Surrey Hills whilst supporting the work we do with transforming the lives of young people. It's a 10km loop, taking in Leith Hill which stands at 294m above sea level.

Story

Young people who have experienced childhood trauma, or escaped domestic violence, too often become homeless. Sleeping on sofas or in hostels, they struggle to find work with devastating effect on their self-confidence and mental health. Its a vicious spiral thats hard to break. Thats where Amber comes in. We provide a temporary home and a programme of support that helps young people transform their lives for good. 72% move on from Amber into independent housing, with a job or back into education.

I am fundraising for a bed space at Farm Place in Ockley, enabling a young person to come off the street and transform their life with Amber's support.

Thank you for supporting.
