Cancer has touched the lives of many in my family, and I have witnessed firsthand the incredible care provided by The Christie. Their unwavering support and dedication to patients inspire hope during some of the most challenging times.

As some of you know my mum was diagnosed with cancer and only 8 weeks later she sadly passed away. During this time she received fantastic care from staff The Christie who also provided excellent support for the family during this really difficult time.

Gwyn’s mum was recently diagnosed with Non- Hodgkins lymphoma and is also currently receiving the most amazing care from the all the staff.

As a small token of our appreciation, on October 12, 2025, myself and husband, Gwyn, will be participating in the Manchester Half Marathon to raise funds for The Christie Charity. The goal is to raise as much money as we can to help ensure that others receive the same exceptional care that my loved ones have experienced.
