Paradise is a £1.2bn mixed-use development that has seen the civic heart of Birmingham transformed, bringing new life to some of its most cherished heritage buildings and creating a vibrant new destination that is attracting new businesses, jobs and visitors to the city.

Each year, through the input and involvement of our occupiers, we select two charities to be the recipients of our fundraising activities. This initiative allows the community within the estate to collectively support a cause that resonates with them, fostering a sense of shared purpose and social responsibility.

Our chosen charities for 2025 are Acorns Children’s Hospice and The Ladywood Project.

Acorns Children’s Hospice offers specialist palliative nursing care and support designed to meet the clinical, emotional, cultural and spiritual needs of local children and their families wherever and whenever they need help; in the hospice, community and at home.

Paradise sits in the Ladywood ward and so making a positive impact by supporting our neighbours is very important to us. The Ladywood Community Project helps families on low incomes or in financial hardship not only to manage their day to day needs but encourages them to feel part of the community and not so isolated with their problems.

Throughout the year, we will be organising a number of activities and events to raise awareness and funds, all of which we hope will contribute to making a positive impact on our chosen charities’ respective missions.
