As a team of 18, we are preparing to yomp six miles from Park Community School to Royal Marines Barracks Chivenor, embracing the challenge with determination and team spirit. At the end of our yomp, we will meet the unit PTI who will give us a small taste of what it takes to earn the title of a Royal Marines Commando. We are undertaking this challenge in recognition of the incredible work carried out by Royal Marines Charity, supporting serving personnel, veterans, and their families. For some of us, this is especially meaningful, as members of our team are proud sons of former Commandos, and this yomp is our way of showing respect, gratitude, and solidarity with their extended family.
