This year we go again! Bigger and better, double the trouble

Our very own Duncan AND Nic are taking on Manchester Marathon in aid of MacMillan Cancer support.

Cancer doesn’t affect just one person. It affects all of us.

We are a community. We are a family. And when one of us is going through the hardest of times, we come together to support, encourage and carry each other through.

That’s why we are proud to be fundraising for Macmillan Cancer Support.

So many of us have been touched by cancer in some way — whether we have faced it ourselves, supported a family member, stood beside a friend, or watched someone we love go through treatment. Cancer can change everything, and the journey can often feel frightening, overwhelming and incredibly lonely.

But it doesn’t have to be faced alone.

Cancer isn’t a single-person battle. It’s a community fight.

Having people around you who understand, who listen, who support you and who are there when you need them can make the hardest days feel just a little more manageable.

That is what makes Macmillan so important.

Macmillan provides a community for people when they need it most. They offer practical, emotional and financial support to people living with cancer, as well as their families and loved ones. They are often the people someone turns to when they don’t know where else to go.

We want to help make sure that support continues to be there for anyone who needs it.
