Mom sadly left us on the morning of Wednesday 27th November 2024, having been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in February.

She was, thanks to the care and attention of Dad, able to remain at home until the final two weeks of her life when she was fortunate to be offered a bed at Birmingham Hospice in Selly Oak (formerly St Mary's Hospice) where she (and we) were treated with the utmost kindness, care and compassion in these final days.

She was the most wonderful, caring, kind, generous and cheerful wife, mother, grandmother, friend and colleague we could have wished for, always making time for people and putting the happiness of others ahead of her own.

In celebration of her wonderful life, and in place of flowers at her funeral we are asking for donations for both Pancreatic Cancer UK and Birmingham Hospice.
