This page is in memory of beloved Husband and Father Paul Lee, who tragically lost his life to Aortic Dissection on the 24th of July 2024. Paul loved cycling and music and was full of life. He was only 59 years old.

On June 25th 2024, Paul experienced a sudden Aortic Dissection and was immediately admitted to the ICU at Leeds General Infirmary. For four weeks, he fought bravely with the incredible support of the medical team, but unfortunately, he passed away due to further complications.

In gratitude for the exceptional care Paul received, we are raising funds for Leeds General Infirmary through the Leeds Hospitals Charity. The hospital staff went above and beyond in their efforts to save Paul and provide comfort to our family during this difficult time. Your donations will help enhance patient care and support families in their most challenging moments.

We would also like to raise money for The Aortic Dissection Charitable Trust. 2000 people per year lose their lives from aortic dissection in the UK and this trust is the UK and Irelands charity uniting patients, families and the medical community in a shared goal of improving diagnosis, increasing survival and reducing disability due to aortic dissection.
