Story

Thank you for visiting the Pentalec London to Paris Fundraising Page.

3 Members of the Pentalec team will be undertaking the over 300 mile route from central London to the heart of Paris.

The challenge takes place over 4 days with around 80 miles or 7-8 hours a day spent in the saddle.

The 3 participants (John Hatt, Adrian Stephens & Charlie Clover) are novice cyclists at best so in addition to the actual challenge, many, many miles of training rides over several months are required.

We have set an ambitious team fundraising target of £6,000 which will greatly help Action Medical Research continue the vital work they do. Every penny counts so no matter how big or small every sponsor helps.

Action Medical Research is the leading UK-wide charity saving and changing children’s lives through medical research. For 65 years we’ve helped pioneer ways to prevent disease and develop treatments benefiting millions of people. Our research has helped to beat polio in the UK, develop ultrasound, fight meningitis and prevent stillbirths. But we urgently need to develop more new treatments and cures for sick babies and children and we can’t do it without you.
