I am running the EDINBURGH Marathon 2023 in my 50th year to celebrate the lives of my parents both sadly lost too soon to cancers. My lovely friend L:ynsey is running with me too.....keeping me sane on those long training runs. Geraldine is joining in the fun too by taking on Edinburgh half marathon.

Along with my sister, Cara Phillips, and my friend Tracey Campbel we are planning a wee ladies lunch in June at the Beachcomber In Helensburgh.

My mum had blood cancer (2021) and my dad lung cancer(2007), both my parents received treatment and support from the Beatson in Glasgow.

My mum had also asked for fundraising to support Blood Cancer UK prior to her passing.

Myself (and hopefully I will enlist some family and friends) will be clocking up the miles between now and April 2023 at numerous events in preparation for Edinburgh Marathon
