Story
BRAKE
When Philip and John were killed and we were desperate for help with the Spanish authorities we reached out for help from MP’s, Northumbria police, really anyone who, in theory had the authority to help, but none of them did. Brake, a national road safety charity, were the only people to help us deal with the Foreign and Commonwealth office and the Spanish police. We will forever be grateful for the support we received from Brake and our caseworker Graham.
Every day, five people die on UK roads and many more are seriously injured. When the worst happens, Brake is here to help.
Brake is a national road safety charity that cares for people bereaved and injured in road crashes and campaigns for safer roads for all.
