Story

This year the Iron Merlins don’t have ambitious plans for a high species count big day. GBBO’s Ned Bohman and Kayla Henry will instead be focusing on a specific habitat type: pinyon juniper woodlands. After all, this is a fundraiser for Pinyon Jay research, why not spend the day with them in their habitat?! Pinyon Jays have experienced such massive population declines in recent years, we hope to raise as much money as we can to support research to help understand the causes.

While we don’t expect a high species count, we will be counting everything we see on the way. You never know what secrets the mountains have in store!
