Story
🎀 On September 27th, our family will be coming together to take part in the Cancer Focus NI Pink Run at St. Angelo Airport in Enniskillen — our home town. 💗
Cancer has touched our family in a very personal way, so this is a cause that means so much to all of us. We’re taking part in support of someone very special to our family — a much-loved daughter, sister, mum, mother-in-law, nanny and aunt.
For us, this isn’t simply about completing a 5K. It’s about family, togetherness and giving something back to our local community, while helping to support people and families whose lives have been affected by cancer.
The Pink Run forms part of Breast Cancer Awareness Month and helps raise vital funds for Cancer Focus Northern Ireland’s local breast cancer services in Fermanagh, including the Therapeutic Cancer Support Centre in Enniskillen, which opened in May 2025.
The Centre provides free practical, emotional and social support for people living with cancer and their families. Led by experienced nurses, the team offers advice and information alongside a range of services including counselling, family support, breast cancer bra and swimwear fitting, art therapy, health promotion activities and patient driving — providing door-to-door transport for those who cannot travel independently.
And it really is amazing to think about what even a small donation can achieve. 💗
Just £60 could fund one hour of breast cancer support at the Centre, helping provide services such as counselling, bra fitting and family support.
We would be incredibly grateful for your support. Whether you choose to make a donation, share our fundraising page, or simply cheer our Team on, every bit of support means so much to us!
Every donation, every share, every word of encouragement really can make a difference. 🎀
Thank you for helping our family make every step count and for supporting the vital work of our local Therapeutic Cancer Support Centre in Fermanagh.
