Our Story......

We met at our local gym a few years ago and soon established that we had a joint passion for the outdoors and being up for a challenge. Fast forward, and here we are about to set out on a lifechanging adventure together in October - 130 miles of high altitude trekking in the Himalayas to reach Everest Base Camp (fully self-funded). But more importantly, to change the lives of the young people in Nepal with the funds raised. This is our motivation to keep going when things will definitely get tough.

So, to the fundraising - the second challenge!! We both fully acknowledge that our target will be stretching -5364- is the height above sea level of Everest Base Camp and together we will be working hard to smash this target! These vital funds will help go towards doubling the capacity of two vocational schools already built by Supporting Nepal's Children. OVER 1400 young people have now graduated into stable employment and been given the chance to build a secure future for themselves and their families because of these fantastic schools and the skills they have developed.

PLUS, every pound raised by fundraisers directly connected with St. James’s Place will be matched by the business and used to support UK charity Jamie’s Farm.
