I am fundraising for a cause that has been part of my life for now almost ten years and began with our son Ben needing friendships , something which we struggled to find ways of creating without just taking the bull by the horns and doing it ourselves .... so we tried something in 2016 during the summer holidays . Who knew what it would become !PlayPeace achieved charitable status in August 2022, after running from 2016 as a parent formed community group for our children with additional support needs. We now offer three family play sessions each week all year round, regular highly subsidised family outings and much needed time out activities and support for parents and carers. We have grown fast since 2022 , building a staff team who go above and beyond to support 105 families - and growing! We would hate to turn anyone away and to maintain our level and quality of services we constantly need to bring in funds . Thank you for any donation you can give, wee or big , it all counts !
