Story
Pulmonary fibrosis (PF) is a devastating disease with a poor prognosis.. Our mother, Eileen Connolly, sadly passed away from PF this summer. This was just a year after diagnosis. Although PF is a really challenging condition to live with mummy never complained and continued to be the resilient women we all loved right until the end. The Northern Trust Pulmonary Fibrosis Support Group (NTPFSG) provided invaluable support to mummy and us as a family. The NTPFSG is a not for profit charity dedicated to raising awareness, supporting research into improving outcomes and providing a greater understanding of PF. All money donated will go directly to the NTPFSG to provide support to sufferers of PF and their families from all across Northern Ireland; working to improve their quality of life. We are doing the Dublin Marathon on 30th October in memory of mummy who always championed helping others.
