WLBSE! had a team for each year prior to covid restrictions, but couldn't raise enough people this year to take part.

I have brought together WLBSE! and Positive Steps https://positivestepspt.co.uk/ - mainly the Nordic Walking element - to hopefully increase our walkers, especially through the night period.

Although I attended both days of this years event it felt wrong not to be taking part, and raising funds, so I set myself the target of ensuring I supported this great cause and event next year.

Any donations will be well received by the team, and come with our thanks - if you wish to go one step further and take part then please let me know.

The event itself in July 2024 will be a fun occasion, although the cause is a serious one, as it is the culmination of all the teams efforts to raise funds and is a weekend of letting your hair down, dressing up for set laps and enjoying the entertainment on the stage.

If you can't donate then please put the dates in your diary for next year and come along to Nowton Park to support the teams efforts - it is a great family day out.
