Katie, Linz and I have always wanted to do a 10k commando style assault course in the rain in October in some fields, ditches, rivers and hot coals near North Molton. Luckily, North Devon Hospice put on the perfect event! After attempting to bully various other parents, sisters, teachers and passing humans at various kids parties (the only social events available sadly) we have settled on our mighty team of 3. Everyone else was injured or busy….With the promise of a good lunch afterwards and all our kids supporting/laughing at us, we thought we’d take it on.

Please sponsor us to complete Mission Unbreakable. We need the motivation to not bottle it. We’ll get very cold, very tired, very muddy and then run through some fire. Over 10k we’ll do various daring do obstacles including the ‘Sheep Dip’ where we plunge into a horrible muddy cold ditch, go through an underwater tunnel and get pulled put the other end by a commando. We’ll also get to shimmy up ropes, drop from height into more muddy water, some sort of hellish ice bath, crawling over and under stuff, crying a bit, laughing hopefully and more mud. I think we will have earnt your money and you get to feel warm and fuzzy knowing your cash goes to a brilliant charity who do so so much for people when they really need it. We all know friends and family who have needed North Devon Hospice’s support.
