The Propeller team is supporting Down Syndrome UK as 2026's Charity of the Year, as a fantastic cause close to our hearts.

Down Syndrome UK (DSUK) is a national charity passionate about empowering parents and professionals to improve the lives of those with Down syndrome and their families in the UK.

They advocate for care, celebration, opportunity and equality.

Last year, we celebrated World Down Syndrome Day on 21st March - symbolic because people with DS have 3 copies of their 21st chromosome - by wearing brightly coloured, mismatched socks and spreading the word on social media and hosted The Propeller Bake Off in our London office, where bakers (of varying skill level!) contributed their bakes for sampling, and our team ate very well and donated generously!

Looking forward, we have plenty of fun and exciting initiatives planned throughout 2026. to raise both awareness and funds.

We are calling on our colleagues, clients, friends and family to find out more about Down syndrome, and support with a donation if they can.
