The Healthcare for Older People (HCOP) team is proudly multidisciplinary, and our fundraising reflects that spirit. This year, we wanted to create something everyone could enjoy, so we kicked things off with a family‑friendly inflatable obstacle course in April. We then took on the Wolf Run a week later, bringing together a completely different team but the same brilliant camaraderie. Both events gave everyone a real sense of achievement (and some decent medals), and the enthusiasm across the teams has been fantastic.

Our final group challenge for 2026 brings together colleagues from HCOP and Trauma & Emergency General Surgery (TEGS) as we take on Tough Mudder on 4 July 2026. Expect mud, obstacles, teamwork, and pure grit—followed by a very well‑deserved rest over the summer!
