Kathleen, Helen, Erin and Ali are taking on the Kiltwalk challenge to raise money for McConnell International Foundation’s Keep Girls in School programme, which helps 200 girls in rural Malawi stay in education. Girls who complete their secondary education in Malawi are not only more likely to earn more and therefore have a more secure future, but enjoy better health, have fewer, and healthier children, are at less risk of early marriage.

We 'Quarrelsome dames' are all ladies "of a certain age" and mothers of daughters who want to see a world where girls have better, and more equitable opportunities, so are taking on this challenge to do a wee bit to help achieve that goal.
