QUARTZELEC TEAM

I am taking part along with 4 colleagues in this event to raise awareness and money for local charities to help combat homelessness in the Swansea area, this has notoriously been a big issue and Swansea and any donation no matter how big or small will go a long way.

Quartzelec have historically helped food banks in Swansea and want to continue to give back to the community.

Homelessness and rough sleeping are still problems for people in Swansea. The causes are complicated, and the solutions are equally complex. This event will highlight the issues and put a focus on two charities working together to help. It will raise much needed funds and give wonderful volunteer fundraisers a tiny taste of sleeping out in the cold of Autumn. We know this doesn’t compare with the uncertainty and hardship of actual homelessness, but it does help focus the mind, and offers a chance to make a difference by raising funds.
