How to contribute: Simply sign up to Strava and follow Nicola Weir, Chris Hodder, Sophie Hodder or Matt Teague. Then join the ‘Race around the world’ challenge group and connect your account to track your miles.

Why Cancer Research?

Every step you take and every mile you conquer helps fund groundbreaking research to prevent, diagnose, and treat cancer. Together, we can push forward the boundaries of science and give hope to millions affected by cancer worldwide.

Why Girls in Kibera?

Kibera is one of the largest informal settlements in Kenya. Girls are in desperate need of education, access to healthcare and help to keep them safe from violence, abuse, and exploitation.

Funding can be used to create safe spaces, legal aid, and counseling services, empowering girls to live without fear of violence. Investing in girls has a multiplier effect on the broader community. Educated and empowered women are more likely to raise healthier and more educated children, leading to generational advances in health and education within their communities.
