Over the past 11 months, Future Dreams has been a lifeline for our school friend Sameera throughout her diagnosis and treatment for aggressive breast cancer. When diagnosed in May 2025, she knew of no-one who had the same diagnosis as her (Triple Negative), nor anyone who had recently been through the gruelling treatment she was about to commence.

At the Future Dreams House in central London she found friends, support and many, many women her age and younger who were on the same journey as her.

The House provided and continues to provide her a safe space to rest, recover and reset before, during and after cancer treatment. It provides yoga, pilates, cooking and art workshops, book and movie clubs, reiki and reflexology, wig and make-up workshops, nail care, breast cancer nurses, an essential Bra lounge for surgery needs and a phenomenal amount of emotional, wellbeing, financial, career and life support.

Together, as a group of 6 friends from school (we have known each other for 37 years!!) we are raising vital funds for Future Dreams by doing a 20km walk along the Thames Path this May.

It has been 5 years since Future Dreams House opened in London, and this 20km walk Anniversary Challenge will help raise essential amounts to continue supporting those impacted by breast cancer.
