Story
Hi everyone, this October, myself, Lisa, Hannah and Jannelle are taking on a challenge that’s close to our hearts: walking 100 miles to raise vital funds for the National Autistic Society.
Why 100 miles? Because every step we take represents the journey towards a society that truly understands and embraces autistic people and the families that care and support them. It’s not just about the miles – it’s about the message.
We’ll be squeezing in steps between incredibly busy work and family lives, and the unpredictable North East weather (rain, snow, and gale-force winds) But we’re doing it because we believe in a world where autistic people are not just accepted, but included and celebrated.
For many, autism is a word they’ve heard – but the reality of living with autism, or supporting someone who is autistic, often goes unseen. That’s why we’re walking: to shine a light, raise awareness, and support the incredible work of the National Autistic Society.
Your donation – big or small – will help fund essential services, advocacy, and support for autistic people across the UK. Together, we can make a real difference.
Thank you for supporting us on this journey.
