Story

From extreme loneliness to a lack of vital provisions, the ongoing COVID-19 crisis is threatening the most vulnerable in the RAF community. In response, the RAF Association has launched four emergency projects to combat these issues and demand for these services is increasing every day. With the crisis also prompting a drastic loss in income, the Association is under pressure more than ever to ensure we can support those most in need. That is exactly why we need you to join our fundraising exercise!

RAFA was chosen as the national charity that we, the Whole Force at RAF Valley would support for FY20/21. With the restrictions in place to mitigate against COVID 19 the 2 annual Motorbike Track Days, that bring the bulk of our charitable income each year, are unlikely to go ahead. By supporting the RAF Valley Cycling Club in their endeavours to complete the 100 mile virtual bike ride on 14 June you will be doing your bit to help RAFA continue their vital work for the whole RAF Family. The RAF Association is dedicated to supporting serving and former RAF personnel and their families. Whether it's an injured airman fighting to get back onto his feet, a young daughter missing her parent away on overseas operations or a WWII veteran needing a shoulder to lean on, we are here to help.
