Story
Teenage Cancer Trust is one of Dumball Rally 2025’s chosen charities and teams will be raising money for young people with cancer.
Every day, seven young people aged 13-24 hear the words you have cancer. Teenage Cancer Trust is the only UK charity dedicated to providing the specialised nursing care and support they need to get through it.
In 2000 Adam was one of these people and over the 7 years that he battled with Leukaemia, we saw the amazing difference Teenage Cancer Trust makes to the journeys of those Teens suffering from this god awful disease.
In 2007 Adam and Colin did Dumball and, despite being in a wheelchair, Adam was a big part of the rally and he described the Dumball as the best week of his life! Watch this video to see some footage of him on the Rally:

On the day he was told that he wasn't going to win the fight, we got a call from Dumball, asking if we'd like to do the 2008 rally and if we would mind if the rally was undertaken in support of Teenage Cancer Trust again. Adam wanted to do it in my Volvo and call it Raging Horn.. Sadly he didn't live to see the 2008 rally but we did the rally in the Volvo and called it Ragin' Horn.
Tom and Ben were close mates of Adam's and he'd love the fact that we're doing the final Dumball and raising funds for Teenage Cancer Trust again
The 2025 Dumball Rally will see a band of intrepid fundraisers take a fleet of old bangers to Majorca, in full fancy dress, covering over 4000km in 7 days.
It’s a carnival of mayhem on wheels - a true test of idiocy and endurance!
We have the small matter of converting an old, not particularly reliable Jeep Grand Cherokee into something we can live in and drive from the UK to Majorca via some ridiculous roads!
Cancer doesn't just devastate a young persons health. It threatens to take away everything they care about their identity, their independence, and their dreams.
Teenage Cancer Trust fund specialist nurses, youth support teams and hospital units within the NHS to provide the very best care and support during treatment and beyond, making sure cancer doesn't stop young people living their lives.
So, if you can support us with a donation, however small, we'd be delighted, we fund the Rally ourselves so all donations go straight to the charity.
