We are a group of friends teaming up to take on Isle Wight Ultra walking challenge, we all have our own tales of cancer and want to raise money for worthy Cancer causes.

TRACY is completing 32 miles half island , walking for lost family & friends all affected by cancer.

RUSS (Captain un sensible) is walking 63 miles full island , walking for everybody I know that’s been affected by cancer , weirdly likes a challenge.

STUART is walking 18 miles cross island, he’s walking in aid of Macmillan as their nurses were brilliant when his mother had cancer , they supported his father, mother and himself right up to her passing. Without their support he doesn’t think his father and himself would have got though this distressing & tiring period.

FAYE isn’t walking on the day but she is a key member of our team, Faye is logistics manager providing full support to us walkers over the weekend .

KATHERINE, RICH are walking 18 miles cross island, Am walking for prostate cancer and my husband Rich as he was diagnosed with it this year.Like anyone cancer has touched my family and friends - some of whom are still here and some have passed.Diagnosis and treatments have improved over the years so please if you have any concerns and/or you’re entitled to check ups - make and attend your appointment. You are worth it.

CY, KAREN, ALEC are walking In memory of Clive Barly our Dad/grandad. Clive spent the last 19 years avidly raising funds for cancer research after beating the disease in 2003. Sadly it returned 2022 and Clive lost his life, his final words to me was to keep up the fight and support the charity. Sadly our friends and other family members have also had thier lives shattered by this disease! Advancement in treatments and increasing survival rates are down to charity's like Cancer Research uk and the sterling work they do. You can see from our team that beating cancer and supporting those that support cancer patients and thier families is our mission. We are greatful for any and all donations to any of the teams charity's. Wish us luck!
