Remembering Jack

Raising money for Angiosarcoma Awareness Inc

Story

For all of you that knew and loved our wonderful son Jack Prescott, you will undoubtedly be as devastated as we are by his passing on Thursday 9 April at the tender age of 31, following a short but intense battle with cancer.

We are truly heartbroken at the loss of our handsome, caring, considerate, intelligent, funny and very brave son.

However we are already finding some comfort in the fact that we managed, even in these challenging times, to get him back home to the UK to spend his final week with us. As such we were able to share some last precious moments together, to say all the things we wanted to each other and then to finally hold him in our arms as he peacefully passed away at home surrounded by the love of his immediate family.

We are also now drawing strength from the immense pride we have in Jack’s many personal achievements and the positive impact he had on everyone that got to know him. This is clear from the overwhelming number of heart-warming tributes that have been pouring in for Jack from his many friends and work colleagues .

As Jack was so highly committed to scientific research, his loving sister Emily decided to set up this Just Giving fundraiser with all proceeds going directly to Angiosarcoma Awareness Inc, a US organisation that is dedicated to raising awareness and advocating for much needed research into this very rare and aggressive cancer that Jack had.

Any donation to this fundraiser no matter how small would be greatly appreciated and will hopefully allow for some good to come from the premature and very sad loss of our beloved son.

May we all remember Jack for his kindness, compassion, intellect, good humour and beautiful smile.

All our love, as always.
