Story
The Great Kindrochit Quadrathlon is an endurance event like no other: swim across a loch, run over seven Munros, paddle back to the start, and cycle round the loch to finish. It’s a massive challenge across more than 50 miles and 7500 vertical feet. 2023 is the year we do it!
Kristian and Tom signed up to the Kindrochit in a bid to rediscover our inner athletes. Tom is a former GB ice-hockey coach with a number of ultamarathons under his belt; Kristian was a college rower and crew coach and is passionate about yoga - but it’s been a while since we trained for a big event. We learned the hard way in 2022 that training at our (undisclosed) age means training smart and we’re on a mission to do just that.
We are fundraising for two special causes: race charity Mary’s Meals, which fights poverty and supports education by serving school meals across the globe; and Maggie’s Centres, the homes that support cancer patients and their families in the UK. Join us on the journey towards July!
