Story
Kärcher's Retail Sales Team have decided to challenge themselves on October 3rd and walk a Half Marathon. Starting at the source of the Thames near Kemble, these seven athletes (all at the peak of physical fitness) will follow the Thames River and finish at Cricklade, just over 13 miles later.
As a team we have decided to embark on this challenge to raise funds for an amazing cause - Priors Court.
Prior’s Court, is a remarkable charity, providing education and residential care to autistic young people with complex needs, aged 5-25. They are dedicated to providing accessible education and personalised residential care, empowering autistic young people to be happy, healthy, and independent, with opportunities to engage meaningfully with the world of work.
Specifically the team will be supporting Prior's Court fun and recreation appeal.
"Autistic young people with complex needs deserve to experience the same things as others their age. But, complex needs and sensory challenges can make it difficult for young people to attend seasonal events, such as Easter Egg hunts, summer fairgrounds, fireworks displays, and Christmas Carol Concerts.
Fundraising for our ‘'Fun and Recreation Appeal'’ can bring these sorts of events to the young people at Prior’s Court and provide them, and their families, the special moments which can often feel impossible. It also empowers them to experience new environments, activities and to put to practice important life and social skills."
We are seeking your support and generosity to help us achieve our goal of raising £700.
Your support can make a significant impact on the lives of these extraordinary young people.
Thank you for your generosity, kindness, and belief in the potential of every individual.
Many Thanks,
The Retail Sales Team
