Nobody understands what’s happening in the veins in one part of the body and how it impacts the arteries elsewhere better. They‘ve helped transform survival rates, but heart and circulatory diseases still kill 1 in 4 people in the UK, they cause heartbreak on every street. So their work is urgent and vital as ever.
