Cycling Tour de Test Valley 2022 for CALM (Campaign Against Living Miserably) to help us save lives

Story

I'm taking part in Tour de Test Valley for CALM because 125 lives are lost every week to suicide. And 75% of all UK suicides are male. CALM exists to change this.

This is the 10th Anniversary of Ride on Nelly and I've done 8 of the 9 previous events only missing last years 100 mile ride due to racing the same day, but I still made it to the party!

This year I'm riding the event with my daughter, Loren, who lost her brother Hayden to suicide 3 years ago. Of course we're taking on the 100 mile 'Full Monty' route. It's a great route and really fullfilling and emotional crossing the finish line after a great day out on bikes. While I've ridden 100 miles or more plenty of times, Loren has not ridden her bike this far so will be a real challenge for her both physically and emotionally.

We want to raise as much money as possible for CALM in memory of Hayden [my son], Nelson Pratt, Matt Pascoe and Carl Lovell [friends] who all took their own lives in the last 10 years.
