Story
On 31st May, we will be walking 26miles in the Lake District to raise funds for the Alzheimer’s Society. Our Dad/Grandad/Father-in-law David was diagnosed with Dementia in 2017. A former ‘Hall of Fame’ sportsman in both cricket and professional rugby league, David has been the life and soul of the family and the wider community. We have learnt all too quickly how much Dementia can stifle that spirit.
Dementia is a cruel disease which can strike anyone. Please help us raise some much-needed money for this fantastic charity, allowing them to continue to support families living with this disease and to fund vital research.
Alzheimer’s Society are working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. They do this by giving help to those living with dementia today and by providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding ground-breaking research.
