Rodway Family Island Walk 2021

Raising money for Hospice Of St Francis (Berkhamsted)

The Hospice helps people to live their precious lives well. Our care has many forms – at home, in our outpatient Spring Centre or through specialised care in one of our Hospice beds - and is defined by each person's need. We rely on donations to raise the £6m we need each year to fund our free care.

Story

The Rodway Family is doing the TMF Island Walk on June 19. Its a 48.1 mile walk around the coast of Jersey. The walk starts at 3am from the Elizabeth Ferry Terminal at the Harbour. David has done this walk a couple of times and both Nicole and Katie wanted to join in. We have each chosen a charity to support.

David has chosen RNIB because they did so much to support his mother. Helen has chosen St Francis Hospice because they took such good care of her beautiful friend Melanie. Nicole is supporting St Albans Mencap because they support people with leaning disabilities - with specialised services for both adults and children. Katie is particularly concerned for the young homeless people in our community so has chosen to support Herts Young Homeless.
