Raising money for The Children's Society and St Christopher's Hospice

Story

These are two charities close to Mum, the Children’s society and St Christopher’s Hospice.

The Children’s society was a charity that Mum supported every year helping organise and co-ordinate the collection boxes.

In the whirlwind of March when Mum realised how unwell she was Mum wanted to get to St Christopher’s but didn’t think it would happen. When she arrived she described it as blissful and like Heaven. Mum went home to be with Jesus on 8th April, we discovered this week, the same date as our dear Great Auntie Ann also died and went to Heaven at St Christopher’s where we had all visited as young children and had not been back since 1981.

Mum also regularly supported World Vision, sponsoring a child, Cancer Research in memory of her sister Dorothy and Battersea Dogs home, with a wish that if she ever became restricted to going out and having fun

and helping others, in her latter years she would get a little dog!

So feel free to donate to any of those charities if you wish.
