Story
Martin had leg & back pain Christmas 2023 and it continued till March 2024, we all thought it was sciatica. To our horror, in April 2024, he was diagnosed with neuroendocrine cancer in his spine and lymph nodes with spotting on his liver. While his diagnosis was terminal, he had radiotherapy for the pain and started chemotherapy shortly after and we were hopeful of keeping it under control. Good days were plenty in the beginning but after the first round of chemotherapy there was good and bad news, some of the tumours had shrunk while others had grew, started another round of chemo but new kidney tumours caused other issues which led to a lot of infections and eventually the news we dreaded, the chemotherapy wasn't working and we were at the end of the road, HOW COULD THIS BE HAPPENING. Between the 3 of us we cared for him at home just as he wanted.
Our lives are shattered, 2 little boys, Cameron 12 and George 7 will now grow up without their daddy 💙 Zoe without her husband ❤️. Gillian & Lesley without their little brother 💛. Ross, Emily, Annie & Sarah without their uncle 💜
