Hi!
I am running the Royal Parks Half Marathon on 12th October 2025 to raise money for Alice's Arc. This is a charity whose funds go towards advancing research into rhabdomyosarcoma, and ultimately improving treatments to work against this. This charity is in partnership with The Margaret Adcock Foundation who, together, have launched 'Maggie's Arc' to educate people about the disease and raise awareness about an amazing girls life which was cut short by it.
Margaret Adcock was one of my best friends, and she was an inspiration to all who knew her. Maj was a beautiful girl who always had a positive outlook on life, no matter what she was facing, and she was one of the most kind-hearted people I have ever met. In June 2023, Maj lost her life to cancer, so in completing this run I want to celebrate her life and raise money for a charity who can work towards preventing this happening to other young people.
