Supporting Those Who Support Our Rural Communities
This year, the Royal Welsh Show Pole Climbing Competition is proud to be raising money for three incredible charities that make a real difference to the people who live and work in our rural industries.
Forestry, arboriculture and agriculture are rewarding careers, but they also come with unique challenges. Long hours, physically demanding work, remote locations and the pressures of rural life mean that the support these charities provide is more important than ever.
That's why we're fundraising for:
- The DPJ Foundation – Providing confidential mental health support and counselling for people working in agriculture and rural communities.
- Wales Air Ambulance – Delivering lifesaving critical care across Wales, often reaching people in remote locations where every second counts.
- We Are Farming Minds – Championing positive mental wellbeing within the farming community through support, education and early intervention.
Throughout the Royal Welsh Show, competitors, volunteers, sponsors and spectators will come together to celebrate the skills, camaraderie and professionalism of our industries. We hope you'll join us by supporting these three fantastic charities.
Every donation, no matter the size, helps ensure that vital mental health services and emergency medical care remain available to the people who need them most.
Thank you for supporting our competitors, our industry, and the charities that stand beside our rural communities every day.
