Our amazing group of enthusiastic (and ambitious!) trekkers are undertaking a 24 mile ascent of the Yorkshire 3 Peaks to raise vital funds for RSACC (Rape and Sexual Abuse Counselling Centre Darlington and County Durham) a truly wonderful and life changing charity. Our trekkers will take on 3 of the best known peaks in Yorkshire; Pen-y-Ghent (694m), Whernside (736m) and Ingleborough (723m) all within 12 hours! This is no mean feat, and will require strength, grit and determination. Supporting our trekkers will help to provide essential support services for survivors in our local community.

RSACC is a lifeline, and the only service in Darlington and County Durham to offer specialist support to those who have experienced rape or any kind of sexual violence. In 2025, RSACC supported 811 adult survivors and 99 children and young people with counselling, group therapy, ISVA and emotional support via its helpline and email, but referrals to its services are continuing to rise and right now, the need to help them is greater than ever. This year, the centre has to raise £130,000 to continue providing its free services for survivors. Every pound donated will help to ensure that no one has to wait for the support they deserve.

How your donation helps:

£5 can fund a call to their specialist helpline for someone in immediate crisis.

£15 could provide a session on their domestic abuse recovery programme.

£50 pays for one expert counselling session for a child or young person healing from trauma.

£1,000 can fully train a new frontline volunteer to support survivors.
