Story
As many of you know, Liz and I lost our sister, Caroline, to Motor Neurone Disease four years ago. We have wanted to do something in Caroline's memory and to raise funds for the Motor Neurone Disease Association (MNDA) for some time and have this year taken the plunge and signed up for the Leeds Marathon which is being run this year as the Rob Burrow Leeds Marathon who is suffering from the disease.
The MNDA is focused on improving access to care and campaigning for people affected by motor neurone disease, as well as research into a cure.
Neither of us are 'proper' runners and coupled with the fact that we are (now) told that the Leeds Marathon is one of the hilliest in the country, we are going to have our work cut out.
We understand that money is tight for many people right now, but it would be if you could help us support this fantastic charity and their research into a cure for MND we would be extremely grateful.
