We sadly lost our mum to Alzheimer’s on 4th December 2024 at the age of just 67. Our mum was first diagnosed with Alzheimer’s in 2019 at the age of 62. The last 5 years have been very difficult to watch someone you love slowly deteriorate and it slowly took every last bit of our mum away. It has devastating effects on the person suffering with Alzheimer’s and the family. Alzheimer’s is one of the biggest killers with still no cure for this cruel disease. We are running Coventry half a marathon for our amazing mum who is missed by us everyday. We are running as a team of four and we want to raise awareness of Alzheimer’s for a cure.
