I have decided to take on a 100 mile race from Edinburgh Castle to Glamis Castle (https://www.ratrace.com/events/rat-race-100-edinburgh/#event-itinerary) on the 25th July. As I am silly enough to do such a challenge, I wanted to take the time to try and raise some money for charity at the same time.
I have chosen the Scottish Charity Air Ambulance (SCAA) and the Gwennili Trust as two causes that mean something to me. With the SCAA doing vital medical assistance in remote areas of Scotland, and paying forward in the hope I never have to use them. Whilst the Gwennili Trust is an amazing charity, that provides relief for service and ex-service personnel through sailing. Having served previously, I know how key important charities like this are.
For those who want to stay up to date with my suffering, I will share my tracker as well on this page.
Thank you for anything you can donate to either (or both) of these charities. Their work is exceptional and relies on donations to help keep them going.
Thanks!
Peter
