Story
This Year we have decided to raise money for 2 charities.
The Aortic Dissection Charitable Trust is the UK and Ireland charity uniting patients, families and the medical community in a shared goal of improving diagnosis, increasing survival and reducing disability due to aortic dissection.
2000 people per year lose their lives from aortic dissection in the UK. We hope that with the money we raise we can help fund the education of more medical staff to spot the symptoms sooner, leading to less loss of life and less families having to ordeal the pain of losing their loved ones.
Our second chosen charity needs little introduction, The Macmillan Cancer Trust.
As most of you know, Ryan’s Auntie Tracey has fought a huge battle this year against Cancer and we are all so proud of how she has, with courage and determination faced this awful disease head on.
During the past year Macmillan have supported Tracey untold amounts, with supportive messages, calls, facts, information motivational pushes, love and care.
Ryan would want to say thank you to them a million times over.
