On 27th September 2026, we’ll be taking on the Robin Hood Half Marathon to raise money for Himmah, a Nottingham-based charity supporting people and families facing food insecurity.
Himmah provides emergency food parcels, hot meals and wider support to people across Nottingham, helping those going through difficult times with dignity and compassion. Last year they provided over 11,000 emergency food parcels alone!
The Prophet ﷺ was asked, “What sort of deeds in Islam are good?” He replied: “To feed [others] and greet those whom you know and those whom you do not know.” Sahih al-Bukhari 12
It’s a simple reminder that helping to feed others is one of the best things we can do, and every donation, no matter the amount, helps Himmah do exactly that.
We’ll provide the questionable running technique and sore legs. If you can, we’d really appreciate you supporting Himmah and helping make those 13 miles worthwhile.
