This September, James, Hels and I are taking on the London to Paris cycle for Furnishing Futures - a wonderful charity that transforms empty social housing into fully furnished homes for women and children escaping domestic abuse.

Many survivors are rehoused with nothing – no flooring, no beds, no curtains and no basic furniture. Furnishing Futures steps in to change that. Their team creates safe, healing homes using as-new furniture from the interiors industry that would otherwise go to waste.

We need to raise £6000 between us, £2000 is enough to cover the essential items a family needs when starting again.
