Story
I am attempting to run the 2025 London Marathon to help raise vital funds for Endometriosis UK and Epilepsy Action!
I was constantly in pain, feeling run down and had months/years of missed periods, I finally received my diagnosis in 2018 where I was told that I had both Endometriosis & PCOS, this broke me as I was told that I would never have a child.
I started looking into my diagnosis and found Endometriosis UK who offered a variety of support online, this helped me day to day but also long term.
Fast forward to 2022 and my wish came true as I found out I was pregnant, in June 2023 we welcomed our baby boy into the world and he is my world, everything I do is for him!
Epilepsy Action is another charity that I feel very passionate about since my mum was diagnosed several years ago!
I've seen the affects it has on her and how bad they can be, this unfortunately affects thousands of men, women & children!
The money I raise will be used to help people of all ages who are waiting or have been diagnosed. It's to help the families of those affected and offering the support, guidance and assistance.
Now if you know me, you will know that I have never ran a day in my life, so this is a huge challenge for me but one that I'm determined to complete. It will be both physically & mentally draining but the reward is to reach the finish line and know that I've just done something that makes me a stronger women!
Please help me to achieve my goal of raising whatever we can, every penny helps.
As they say see you on the other side x
