I am Rising Against Suicide with HUMEN, On the 28th November, i will be walking 4,657 metres for each man who was lost to suicide ever year.

This is a cause very close to my heart, having lost a close family member to suicide, I know how much it impacts family and friends, but most of all, how these situations can be avoided.

My cousin was a young, courageous, kind, smart, funny young boy who was so loved by so many people. The room would light up whenever he was there, he always made everyone laughing without trying. Ultimately, inside he was battling with his demons and essentially felt like that was his only way out. I am raising for all the men who have lost their lives to suicide, there is so much more that we can all be doing to raise awareness that people suffering have ways out, there is always a way out and you shouldn't have to suffer in silence.

3 out of 4 suicides in the UK are men. 13 take their lives every day. 13 men yesterday, and 13 more today.

Mental health isn't always visible, we cant always tell when we have friends, fathers, brothers, relatives, husbands who are suffering but we know physical movement and speaking to one and other can make you feel less lonely, you never know the impact it may have on one single human being.

Please help me raise £250, enough for 100 men to access the HUMEN Space. Thats 100 men, less likely to commit suicide, tens of thousands of families who wont be left empty.
